Born and raised in Vietnam, Kenrik moved to the United States at 16 without knowing a word of English. Driven by his love of art and creativity, he quickly immersed himself in the language and culture, soon becoming fluent and finding a new way to express his artistry — through hair.

After living in Texas for 13 years and calling both Houston and Austin home, Kenrik discovered his true passion for hair cutting, coloring, and extension. In just over five years of professional work in Austin, he built a thriving clientele from the ground up and became the highest-volume stylist at Ulta Beauty, even during the challenges of the Covid shutdowns.

Kenrik’s exceptional coloring work has been featured twice by Modern Salon,once by Salon Centric Canada, and in 2022, he earned a spot as a Top 15 finalist for the Ulta Beauty Design Team out of more than 200 stylists nationwide. His artistry has been recognized by some of the industry’s most respected names, including @paintedhair, @ahappyjustin, @myguiltycrown, @gabrielsama, @carloshairstylist_, @ktbhair, and many more.

Beyond the chair, Kenrik is a proud corgi dad, gamer, food lover, and avid fan of music, movies, and TV. Known for his warm and uplifting energy, he strives to make every client feel seen, celebrated, and confident — inside and out. He’s also passionate about mental health advocacy and equality, believing that beauty begins with kindness, understanding, and connection.
